Command Sergeant Major Rebecca M. Booker

Command Sergeant Major Rebecca M. Booker completed Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. She then went on to Advanced Individual Training as a Multichannel Transmission System Operator (31D) at Fort Gordon, Georgia and later reclassified as a Combat Medic (91B) at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

CSM Booker has served with distinction in a multitude of leadership positions commensurate with her career field. These positions include: Command Sergeant Major; Chief Clinical NCO; First Sergeant; Inspector General; Detachment Sergeant; Operations NCOIC; Aide Evacuation NCO; Immunization/Allergy Clinic NCOIC; Multi-System Equipment Repairer.

CSM Booker’s assignments include: Delta Company, 16th Signal Battalion, 3rd Signal Brigade, Fort Hood, Texas; USA MEDDAC Fort Monmouth, New Jersey; Charlie Company, 4th Forward Support Battalion, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; Headquarters Company, 228 Combat Support Hospital, Fort Sam Houston, Texas; Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 47th Forward Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Baumholder, Germany; USA Public Health Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland; Alpha Company, 21st Combat Support Hospital, Fort Hood, Texas; United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (Class 65), Fort Bliss, Texas; Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas; Irwin Army Community Hospital, Fort Riley, Kansas; Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, Georgia; Regional Health Command-Atlantic, Fort Belvoir, VA. She had deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Education from Minnesota State University and a Masters of Arts in Education: Adult Education and Training from University of Phoenix.

CSM Booker’s awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, the Meritorious Service Medal (5th oak leaf cluster), the Army Commendation Medal (4th oak leaf cluster), the Army Achievement Medal (3rd oak leaf cluster), the National Defense Service Medal (bronze star), the Good Conduct Medal (8th Award), the Army Overseas Service Ribbon (numeral 2), the Army Service Ribbon, the NCO Professional Development Ribbon (numeral 5), the Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, the Iraqi Campaign Medal (1 CS), the Meritorious Unit Citation, the Drivers Badge and the Order of Military Medical Merit.
