In today’s Army, Soldiers are required to perform missions across the globe within varying environments, terrain and climates. The Medical professionals within Regional Health Command - Atlantic, RHC-A ensure that today’s warfighter is physically and mentally ready to support both humanitarian and combat operations no matter where duty calls.
Regional Health Command - Atlantic, provides Army units within its area of responsibility support through the provision of trained and ready medical personnel. The Region’s Active Component Soldiers, Army Civilians and Reserve Soldiers form a powerful medical team determined to keep Army Forces ready, fit and healthy.
Soldiers who are ill or injured have a direct impact on the Army’s mission. RHC-A’s physicians, nurses and support staff work together to ensure Soldiers fully recover from their ailments, so they can return to their respective units ready for duty.
In addition, RHC-A, in support of Army Medicine, is leaning forward directly impacting the lives of Soldiers in their Life Space before illness or injury occurs by introducing health and wellness initiatives – providing the Army with Soldiers who are physically, psychologically and spiritually stronger.
Our dedication to strengthening our Nation through a healthy and ready Army shapes our support from the battlefield to home station. Over the last decade of conflict, Army Medicine has contributed to new and land-mark processes, training and equipment to produce the best combat survival rates in history.
The Regional Health Command - Atlantic, also offers more convenient medical care to combatant commanders by standing-up Soldier Centered Medical Homes to ensure their Soldiers can receive medical care and treatment in close proximity to the unit ensuring that Soldiers can return to duty or training more quickly.
